Dr Ra’eesah Ebrahim studied at The University of The Witwatersrand and completed her degree in Bachelors of Medicine (MBBCh) in 2014. Thereafter she spent two years at The Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital to complete her internship. She gained the best experience at this 3rd biggest hospital in the world.

In 2017 Dr Ra’eesah completed her Community Service year at Stretford Clinic in Orange Farm and spent a year (2018) in The ENT Department at Helen Joseph Hospital in which she was fortunate to gain learning experience in all common ENT conditions in both adults and kids. She can now manage all these illnesses confidently with all the teaching she obtained from the top ENT specialists. She also spent time in theatre weekly, doing kids procedures such as Tonsillectomies, Adenoidectomies and the insertion of Grommets.

In 2019 Dr Ra’eesah decided to open up her Own Practice in Lenasia. She completed a Course in Medical Aesthetics (Basic Botox and Fillers) and a Course in IV Vitamin Therapy. She offers these services at her Practice together with Family Medical Care (GP Services). She has now opened a second GP practice in Emmarentia and can also be seen after hours if she is available.

Dr Ra’eesah is passionate about treating kids especially because she is a mother of two girls. Paediatrics has always been her strength. She will be joining the team at the birthing centre where her role would be to assess the newborns and to assist with management plans.c
